It is with pleasure I offer this up-dated review following 3 years of living here. As a woman in her 80's I have lived in ... numerous homes, cities, and different countries- in rentals, big homes and condos. And now I have found my paradise in this 683sq ft rental only 50 + feet from the railroad tracks in a lovely quiet, beautifully landscaped community half a mile from the ocean and approximately a mile walk from town, restaurants, the library, and even less to the senior center, pickle ball courts, etc. I find the neighbors quiet, and friendly, the pool, club house and computer office clean, orderly and inviting, the dogs and birds wonderful company. The best part of it all is the management and maintenance staff who consistently extend themselves to be helpful and caring. Any minimal request for help from them is forthcoming immediately. (I had inadvertently mis-checked a rating about them, in a previous review- thinking I was giving them top stars, but evidently doing the opposite) I hope those reading that will also read this. B In fact the ONLY drawback here - the ONLY one I can find is the train whistles, more pronounced in my location than some other units, and I have accustomed myself to the train as it is a small "price" to pay given the wonderful care and amenities I feel privileged to enjoy. So I give this place, my community, my highest rating. And my huge thank you to Cindy, Bob, and Sergio who are the main impetus for my continuation here! Best manager and maintenance crew
My wife and I moved into The Village apts 2 years ago..we had looked at other places throughout Carlsbad but really fell ... in love with the complex here…it was very well kept along with the great amenities and close proximity to the village and the beach…but our ultimate decision was made because of the manager Jenn…she was incredibly helpful and sweet that we knew choosing to live here would be a good decision…and we were right!!! She always has a smile on her face and is extremely positive…takes care of any issue that day or the latest the next day…we unfortunately have to move back to the central coast for work but we are gonna miss this place and Jenn…also Luis and Bob the maintenance guys are the best I’ve been around..I was also in property management for a number of years…they know their stuff and are always prompt and efficient at any job that needs to be done…both are super friendly and amazing guys…I highly recommend this property if looking to live in a resort style complex that is still Intimate with close proximity to village and beach…also have yards and are very pet friendly!!! Awesome Beachside Villa
My wife and I moved in back in February of 2019 and have now been forced to leave due to an employment opportunity. From ... the beginning Jennifer was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome. She accommodated our schedule and our timeline for needing a new residence allowing us to view the unit. She is definitely a highlight of the Village Apartments. The other highlight would be the maintenance staff, Bob and Luis. These guys work their tails off and would constantly go above and beyond giving us same day service on multiple issues that we encountered. Everyone should live here!
I just want to start by saying I am not one that usually writes reviews bad or good ones for that matter. But I must write ... this one.....my husband and I moved into The Village Carlsbad Apartments in February 2019 because we had an bad experience at our old apartment so we left and found this hidden gem. The office manager Jen the sweetest, most helpful and most attentive manager, she has gone above and beyond what normal managers do to help us in anyway. They have the best maintenance guys that I have ever met. Luis and Bob are always so helpful, cheerful and quick with any response. We were locked in our door on a Saturday night at 9 pm and Bob came to our rescue and helped us out and fixed the door on his day/night off. Truly couldn’t speak more highly about the three of them. Also who wouldn’t love a place that has a pool, gym, accepts dogs, has individual carports and a huge fenced in backyard for each unit. Seriously this place is a few blocks from the beach and downtown Carlsbad. If your in the area or new to the area come check out this place you won’t be disappointed. Love this place!
I've lived here for about a month and a half now, and I love it. Jen, the new on-site manager is on the ball, and made my ... move-in effortless. The maintenance staff is great. Luis and Bob had to come out for a couple minor issues when I first moved in. They showed up within a half hour of my call, and took care of the issues with no problems. The grounds are always well maintained and clean. Yes, they are a little higher priced than some other places I've checked, but well worth it in my opinion. Oh, and my neighbors are great too!
